Goddess Lalitha Flanked by Saraswati to Her Right and Lakshmi to Her Left

Goddess Lalitha Flanked by Saraswati to Her Right and Lakshmi to Her Left

The Lalitha Sahasranaamam sings of the "Thousand Names of the One Who is Playful." Lalitha is the Divine Mother, Herself: the Kamakshi of Kanchipuram and the Bala Tripura Sundari of the Shri Matham. The Lalitha Sahasranaamam is the annihilator of even the deadliest of worldly calamities, problems and worries. It is said that, unlike the other Sahasranaamams which can be more forgiving, the Lalitha Sahasranaamam must be chanted with immaculate pronunciation as well as physical purity.
